Built for serious riders. Engineered to last.

What is a metal horse arena?
Equestrian facilities require expansive, secure environments that protect horses and riders from unpredictable weather. Silverline Structures supplies engineered steel buildings that meet the specific demands of training, riding, and housing horses. From private facilities in Colorado to growing agricultural operations in Florida and across the nation, steel horse arenas provide a permanent, low-maintenance solution for equestrian enthusiasts.

Selecting the right dimensions depends on the riding discipline, the number of horses trained simultaneously, and available land space.
80×200 ft — ideal for personal use, flatwork, reining, or basic jump courses
100×200 ft — added width for full dressage rings and spectator space
150×300 ft — multi-rider commercial operations, show jumping, or regional events
Custom dimensions available — add tack rooms, viewing areas, or attached stalls
Clear span, eave height, and footing
Metal framing accommodates wide clear-span designs without center support posts — eliminating hazards for horses and riders. Standard eave heights range from 16–18 feet, supporting jumping disciplines, farm equipment access, and proper ventilation. Footing options including fiber blends and sand finish neatly above the footing line or join seamlessly with concrete kick walls.
Silverline builds with red iron (heavy I-beam) framing as standard, which allows clear spans past 150 feet — ideal for serious multi-rider and show facilities. For smaller personal arenas under 80 feet, cold-formed steel is a lighter, faster-to-assemble alternative.
